What is the 2nd Annual EOD Warrior 5k?
The 2nd Annual EOD Warrior 5k is a fundraiser race being held Memorial Day, May 26th. The event will take place at beautiful NTC Park at Liberty Station. All proceeds from the event will go to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Warrior Foundation.
The 1st Annual EOD Warrior 5k was a great success, with over 700 registrants and over $30,000 raised for the EOD Warrior Foundation. Join us this year and help us raise even more money for these heroes!

Memorial Day (Race Day) – Monday, May 26, 2014
7:00 a.m. – Event registration & packet pickup
8:30 a.m. – Registration & packet pickup CLOSED
8:40 a.m. – Opening Ceremony
9:00 a.m. – 5k start
10:00 a.m. – Bomb suit race and Junior EOD Warrior 1k start
11:00 a.m. – Awards Presentation and Raffle Drawings

Sports Authority will give packet pick up participants a coupon for 15% off their entire purchase! Come on out to Sports Authority, avoid race day lines, and do some shopping! Remember, we can’t guarantee your t-shirt size if you wait until race day!
5k Awards
Awards will be given to overall 5k winners in each category, age group winners in the 5k general entry category and fastest team (based on average time of each team member).
Cost to Participate
5k registration includes event T-shirt, 1k registration includes a finisher prize.

We will be having a silent auction. More details available at the event on race day.
T-shirts and Finishers Medals
- T-shirts will be available at packet pick-up locations. Event will include race day registration and packet pick-up but t-shirt availability and sizes cannot be guaranteed if you wait until race day.
- Junior EOD Warrior 1k does not include a T-shirt but will include a finishers prize
- Virtual runners must register before May 5th in order to receive a t-shirt prior to Memorial Day. Please allow extra time for FPO/APO addresses.
- 5k runners and Virtual Runners will receive Finishers Medals (while supplies last)
Parking
Event parking has been reserved in the lot marked “PARKING” in the 5k course map picture above. Parking is also available in public lots throughout NTC Park and Liberty Station.
Restrooms
NTC Park restroom facilities will be available as well as portable restrooms, to include handicap accessible toilets.
